IS Support Services Administrator

International company welcomes team member with experience in the administration of Linux and Windows operating systems.

POPIS POZICE

• Provide local IS support and onsite visits to business partners for PC and related equipment and software installation, maintenance, configuration and removal
• Be the owner of local initiatives to improve the quality of the environment and bring new technologies
• Troubleshoot IS requests in cooperation with IS Support Center within the focus to improve customer experience
• Provide services to the customers that meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA) by monitoring all support ticket queues for SLA´s “Time to React” and “Time to Close” on Incidents and Service Requests
• Adhere IS Standard procedures and documentation
• Take ownership of any open Incident, Service Request or Change on locations under his/her responsibility and follow up until resolution
• Coordinate and provide communication to the organization partners about their Incident, Service Request or Changes according to standard procedures
• Responsible for regular life cycle replacements of end user equipment (Desktops, laptops, mobile phones, etc.)
• Taking over the role of “site point of contact” for site(s) under the responsibility of the Support Area
• Onsite coordination for local services with other teams (e.g. new telco circuit)
• Keep the entire Server virtualization environment up and running
• Install and maintain (patching) of any virtual machines (Windows and Linux) to eliminate any potential vulnerabilities, this also includes migration or decommissioning of obsolete virtual machines
• Regular maintenance of the local Server virtualization environment to increase IT security
• Responsible for regular life cycle replacements of all Server virtualization environment belonging to her / his area
• Administration of local server landscape to be able to support any business needs
• Setup new Linux clusters which will be required for every MES implementation on the location(s) under his / her responsibility

PROFIL KANDIDÁTA

• Good understanding of server virtualization (VMWare), storage and network components
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating system
• Experience in the administration of Linux systems
• Knowledge of network infrastructure (switching, routing, network security, etc.)
• Ability to provide technical feedback
• Ability to provide proactively escalation accordingly the priority and support from customer needed
• Troubleshooting skills
• Oral and written communication skills
• A strong sense of urgency and commitment to results along with strong interpersonal skills
• Good multi-tasking skills
• Customer Focused with empathy for our business partners and the ability to see through their eyes
• Proactive - Ask the right questions

• Forward thinking
• Ability to proactively escalate situations to IS Support Services Manager in case of critical issue
• Ability to work a fulltime / after hours, dependent on country regulations / policies and demand needed
• Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator is a plus
• BA degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering / or similar preferred
• ITIL Certification is a plus
• English (equivalent of Cambridge B2)
• 3-5 years of IS Support experience (with focus on server Virtualization and Linux administration as a plus)
• Ability to travel abroad
